My sister has been bugging me to put up the song I wrote for my wedding. Alas, the song she’s thinking about — the duet — has never been recorded. But I did write two other pieces for my wedding, which form a sort of “trilogy” with the duet. The first piece was used as the processional, and the second was what Sarah walked down the aisle to. It was pretty cool at the wedding; both pieces were played by the organist of Sarah’s home church, an accomplished musician, and in order to fill the time that these fairly-short pieces needed to fill, he was able to improvise on the themes, and do some pretty neat things them. These recordings are my own, done for my 2003 instrumental album:
